めいきょんに与えるおもちゃは基本手作りです。なんと、キャットハウスも手作りなのですが、あまりにボロいのでここでお見せすることはできません　笑
Toys given to Meikyon are basically hand-made. I even made cat house by myself, but I can't introduce it here as it looks too crappy. :p

土曜日に、amazonからＤＶＤが届いたのですが、それが入っていた箱を使っておもちゃ（？）を作りました。
On Saturday, DVDs were delivered from amazon, and I made a toy (?) using the box.

「そこへ置いていってください。ノーメークなんで。」"Just leave it there please. I don't make-up my face yet.'

再び猫怪獣の攻撃が！Agai, the kitten monster attacked!

「がんばれば。。。通れる。。。。かな！」 "If I keep on trying...I should be able to get through....!"

無理。壊すなー！Impossible. Don't break it!

猫とは寝子であるわけですが、曇りの日は余計に眠いように見受けられます。
Cats are supposed to sleep a lot, but they seem to be especially sleepy on a cloudy day.


「飼い主も横になるので、めいきょんだって横になりたいわけよ～」 "My gurdian is lying on the sofar. Why don't I ?! "

ま、わたしも曇りの日はやや眠くなるわけですが。。。
Well, I become sleepier on a cloudy day too though....

（眠いけど完璧に目をつぶりたくないので、ぶー顔に。）

「ぶも。。。指枕。。。ぶもももも。。。」"Bmmm....finger pillows, bmmmmmmm"



「そうそう、そのあたり、眠りスイッチ。。。。」"yup...the sleeping switch is ..around..the..re.."


「ごくらく～。。。。Ｚｚｚｚｚｚ］(ぐっすり。）(Fell asleep :) )

まあ、眠いのも無理ありません。なんと。。。めいきょんには裏の顔があって！平日は社長の秘書としてびしびし働いているのです。。。（↓証拠写真。）
No wonder why Meikyon is sleepy....because....Meikyon has a secret! During the weekday, she works hard as a chairman's secretary! （↓Evidence!)

「ん～。。。。この日は社長のゴルフとバッティングするから、会議いれられないわねえ。。。」"Hmmm....on that day the boss is playing golf. This conference can't be accepted...hm...."

Outlookはたぶんあたしなんかより、使えるはず。。。orz
She should be an expart of Outlook....better than I am....orz

週に一回ほど、めいきょんには遊びたくてしょうがないＤａｙが訪れます。そういうときは、私がなにをしていても、「にゃーぁあ！」、遊びをやめると、「にいぃいいやぁ！」。そろそろ寝るぞ、といってもキュルキュル鳴いて走り回ります。（そういうときは、厳格な父のような叱り方でおさめます　笑）
At least once a week, there is a day when Meikyon cannot help herself from claiming for play all the time. Whatever I am doing, she cries out, 'Niiiiyaa!', when I stop playing with her, 'Niyaaaa!'. If I go to bed, she cries like 'kyurrrrrrrrrrr' and runs around. (And she gets scolded by "strict father" like me. hehe.)


「むむむ！ねこじゃらしの助！ここで会ったが百年目！」


「そろ～り。。。そろーーーーーり。。。抜き足差し足千鳥足ってか。。。」


「とう！チェリー味！」（んなこたーない。）

ちょっと疲れてるけどまだ遊びたいなーっという時には、（しょぼい）ヒータに飛び乗って、いつでも飛びつける体制にて私の動きを観察します。
When she is a bit tired but wanna play more, she jumps on the (crappy) heater and watches my action so she can jump on any suspiscious activities.


「はぁはぁ。。。ちょ、ちょっと待ってなさいよ、怪しい動きをしちゃだめだよ！」 "(puff and blow..)ho, hold on a bit....don't make any suspicious move, 'kay...?!"

で、最終的に、しかられる、と。笑　今日は帰りが遅くなるので、夜中の二時くらいまでは余裕で遊ばせられると思います。がくー。
And she gets scold in the end. ha haaa. I am coming back home late tonight, and this means that I have to play with her at least till 2am...at least, yeah at least....gosh!

下あご。。。。Your lower jaw....

「んにゅ？」 "huh?"

「だーからにゃーんだっちゅーのよー、むにゃむにゃ。。」"So, what about my lower jaaw? ..zzz"

「。。。。でてないよ。ぜーったいでてないよ！」 "Noo, it doesn't....Neeeever eeeever!"

いんや、出てる。 Yes, it does.


「ふんぐーーーーぐぐぐぅぐぐぐ。。。。（力みまくり）！これで。。。どうだぁ！」 "Mmmmmmm, hhhmmmm, Hhhhoooowww aaabout nooow?!"

うむ、引っ込んだ。　笑 Yup, it's okay now. lol

ある休日の毛づくろいより。Grooming on a weekend.


「もふっ！」

「どるるるるるるるー。。。。」

「ぐめもむも。。。。。！」

仕事で疲れて帰宅すると、ゴロゴロ言いながら迎えてくれる猫がいる私は、なんて幸せだろう、と今日この頃切に思います。「遊んでくれー」「眠くなってきたよーもぅー！」「トイレがしたいよー！」「あのおいしい物をもう一回食べさせろー！」と主張してくれる猫がいる幸せや、いつも私に意識を集中してくれる猫がいる幸せ、横になればお腹に乗ってくる猫がいる幸せ。。。etcたくさんの幸せに囲まれて生活をしているわけです。
I have strongly recognized recently that I am such a happy human to have a cat who welcomes me with purring when I come back home being very tired from work. I live with big happiness such as, to have a cat who claims 'Play with me!' 'Am getting sleepy, boooo' 'Wanna go pee!' 'Give me the deliscious thingy again!'. to have a cat who always pays attention to me and looks for me (stalk me..), and to have a cat climbs on my stomach once I lie on the floor...etc


「ふわふわクッションの上で毛づくろいする幸せー。」 "The happiness to groom myself on puffy cushion"

この頃、『クラン先生、猛獣たちを診る』（ミシェル・クラン著　ハヤカワ文庫　上・下巻）という本を読んでいて、動物への愛情を持った接し方について随分参考にさせてもらっているのですが、「やさしく名前を呼びながら忍耐強く語りかけ続ける」というのが大事だとわかりました。この方法で、クラン先生は猛獣ども（ライオン・トラ・熊など）の診察をするわけです。で、これをめいきょんに試したところ、長いお留守番のあと、ぐずることが少なくなりました。
Lately, I have been reading a book, "Ces betes qui m'ont fait homme' (by Michel Klein), which is a documentary about a great vet in France, and I have referred to this book for the way to deal with animals with love. I have found out that "talking to a cat calling her name with kind patience" is very important. In this way, Doctor Klein has dealt with beasts (lions, tigers, bears,etc) successfully. I tried this with Meikyon. Since then, Meikyon has not grizzled much after the long 'home alone'.


「にしぇしぇしぇしぇ、めいきょん、めいたん・めいふん・めいぽん・めきょって呼ばれるの、好きだよー」
"heheheeee, Meikyon likes it when you call me like Meitan, Meifun, Meipon, Mekyo!"

やっぱり、猫は人間と比べて寿命がかなり短いので、めいきょんが元気でいてくれるうちに、沢山愛情を注ぎたいなぁ、と思ってます。
Cats life is much shorter than us human beings', I want her to feel beloved as much as possible as long as Meikyon is fine.


「お返しは、あなたへの顔舐めでよろしいでしょうか。」
"Is licking your face enough in return?"

ええ、十分ですとも：）痛いけど、我慢するよ。
Yeah, that's enough, love :) Painful, but I can stand it.
